Paint is the part of a repair people notice. A panel can be perfectly straight and still look wrong if the color is a shade off or the finish doesn't match the sheen beside it. That's the part we obsess over.

How Factory Color Matching Actually Works

We Start With Your Paint Code

Every vehicle has a factory paint code, usually on a sticker in the door jamb. That code is the starting formula — not the finish line. Two cars with the identical code can sit at noticeably different shades after a few Miami summers.

Then We Blend

Rather than painting up to the panel edge and stopping, we fade the new color into the adjacent panels. Your eye reads a gradual transition as one continuous color, which is why blending is what makes a repair invisible.

Skipping the blend is the single most common reason a repainted panel looks obviously repainted.

Car Painting Services for Every Kind of Job

Some cars come to us with a single scuffed door. Others come in faded across the roof and hood from years parked outside. Both are paint jobs, but they need different approaches and very different budgets — and we'll be straight with you about which one you're actually looking at.

If a full repaint doesn't make financial sense for your car's value, we'll say so and give you the option that does.

Why Paint Fails Faster in South Florida

Constant UV, salt air, and afternoon rain are brutal on automotive finishes. Clear coat lifts on horizontal surfaces first — roofs, hoods, trunk lids — and once it starts peeling, it spreads. Catching it while it's one panel is dramatically cheaper than waiting until it's four.

FAQ

Will the new paint actually match the rest of my car?

Yes, because we don't rely on the paint code alone. We blend the new color into the surrounding panels, which accounts for how the rest of your car has faded over time.

Do you offer car painting services for a full vehicle?

Yes — single panels, multiple panels, or the entire car. We'll tell you honestly whether a full repaint makes sense for your vehicle's value.

How much does auto paint work cost?

It depends on how many panels, the color complexity, and how much blending is needed. Metallics and pearls take more work than solid colors. Every estimate is free and itemized.

Can you fix peeling or flaking clear coat?

Yes. Peeling clear coat has to be stripped back to a sound surface and refinished — it can't be painted over. The sooner it's caught, the fewer panels are involved.

What about minor auto paint repair, like a small scuff?

Small areas are often spot-repaired and blended rather than refinishing the whole panel, which keeps the cost down considerably.

How long before I can wash the car?

Give fresh paint about two weeks before washing it, and skip automatic brush washes and wax during that window while the finish fully cures.
